Job Description – Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our Accelerate Services Team, working closely with delivery consultants to design automation solutions and address IT infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Automation & Scripting

• Develop and test PowerShell & Bash scripts for automation of IT infrastructure.
• Create and maintain automation workflows and script documentation.
• Enhance legacy code and integrate scripts with multiple systems via APIs.

✅ Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Support Windows infrastructure using PowerShell.
• Automate processes in MacOS environments using Bash scripting.
• Work with APIs, webhooks, and integrate automation with IT applications (e.g., ServiceNow).

✅ Cloud & Office 365 Automation

• Develop automation solutions for Office 365 services:
  • SharePoint, Teams, Office Administration, and Azure Active Directory.
• Ensure seamless integration with IT infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.

✅ Collaboration & Problem-Solving

• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize IT solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues efficiently.
• Continuously improve automation processes to increase efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Skills

???? Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS preferred) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

???? Technical Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience in automation and scripting.
• Strong knowledge of PowerShell for managing large-scale Windows infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for MacOS environments.
• Experience with APIs & webhooks (integration with IT applications is a plus).
• Familiarity with Python scripting for additional automation tasks.
• Version control proficiency using Git.
