Position: Structural Engineering Online Tutor (Remote)

Pay: ₹500 - ₹1,500 per hour (based on task complexity, deadlines, and level of support needed)

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Structural Engineering tutors for an online, remote, freelance tutoring role. The tutor will assist students globally in areas such as structural analysis, fluid mechanics, geotechnical engineering, and more. This role offers flexible hours and a work-from-home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct online tutoring sessions and provide high-quality homework assistance.
• Solve complex Structural Engineering problems across various subfields, such as structural design, transportation engineering, and environmental engineering.
• Provide academic support to international students (Americans, Europeans, Australians, Middle Eastern countries).
• Maintain professionalism and adhere to strict academic integrity guidelines.
• Follow company policies to ensure confidentiality and avoid direct contact with students outside the platform.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (or currently pursuing one).
• 3+ years of relevant tutoring experience, particularly with international students.
• Strong knowledge of platforms like Google Meet, Google Sheets, and task submission formats.
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and STAAD Pro.
• Excellent English communication skills, ideally with a neutral accent.
• A reliable internet connection, computer/tablet with camera, microphone, and a digital pen.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience teaching complex engineering subjects like concrete design, soil mechanics, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with working on global platforms such as Chegg, CourseHero, Wyzant, and Preply.
• Expertise in dealing with international students and addressing diverse academic needs.

Pay and Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: ₹500 - ₹1,500, depending on task complexity, student requirements, and session timings.
• Flexible payment structure determined by each task or session.

Additional Information:

• This is a freelance position with no fixed hours.
• Tutors will be assigned tasks on a project-by-project basis.
• Global applicants are welcome, with compensation adjusted for regions with a lower cost of living.
• Direct communication with students outside the platform is prohibited and may result in termination from the platform.
• No personal contact details should be shared with students.
