Position: Electrical Chartered Engineer - Transmission Line and Substation (Remote, India)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Chartered Engineer specializing in Transmission Line and Substation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a team of American electrical engineers on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background, with demonstrated expertise in transmission line and substation design and execution. The candidate should be Chartered Engineer certified by ABET or in the process of obtaining this certification within the next year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with American electrical engineering teams to design, plan, and execute transmission line and substation projects.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in electrical engineering, focusing on transmission and substation work.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and ABET certification requirements throughout all engineering processes.
• Lead the preparation and execution of electrical system projects, adhering to regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to transmission lines and substations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Chartered Engineer status accredited by ABET, or in the process of obtaining this certification within the next year.
• Proven experience in transmission line and substation engineering.
• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, with practical experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for transmission lines and substations.
• Ability to work remotely and effectively communicate with international teams, particularly American engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with international teams, particularly in culturally diverse and remote workplaces.
• Additional certifications related to electrical engineering or project management.

Work Location:

This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing candidates to work from anywhere in India.
