Salary: ₹3,05,534.08 - ₹8,00,000.34 per year

Shift & Schedule:

• Night Shift (5 PM - 2 AM)
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend Availability (Occasional, as per project requirements)
• Additional Night Shift Allowance Provided

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Support Software Engineer to join our team on a night shift schedule. The role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, proficiency in coding, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production monitoring, resolving minor technical issues, gathering user information, ensuring seamless client interaction, and assisting the development team in troubleshooting and resolving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for client queries, providing clear communication and timely issue resolution.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve minor software issues quickly and efficiently.
• Data Collection: Gather detailed technical information from users, understand the issue context, and relay necessary details to development leads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development leads and cross-functional teams to support timely issue resolution.
• Documentation: Maintain records of customer issues, actions taken, and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
• Software Lifecycle Support: Assist in maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing software, including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Automation (Preferred): Automate repetitive support tasks to improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with programming languages: Python (Primary), Node.js, TypeScript.
• Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices for debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) to explain technical issues to non-technical users clearly.
• Customer-focused approach with prior experience in client-facing roles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and proactively resolve issues.
• Team collaboration skills to escalate complex issues and work closely with engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in technical support or customer-facing roles.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (Cortex XSOAR, SIEM, SOAR, XDR) is a plus.
• Experience with automation and scripting for issue resolution.
