Role Overview

The Customer Support Engineer – Guwahati will be responsible for:
✔️ Providing technical support to customers in the assigned area.
✔️ Installing and maintaining diagnostic instruments in laboratories.
✔️ Conducting preventive maintenance, field modifications, and troubleshooting breakdowns.
✔️ Ensuring excellent customer relations and satisfaction.
✔️ Following field service policies, procedures, and standards.
✔️ Collaborating with senior engineers for hands-on learning and product training.

This role is part of the India Service Team and reports to the State Service Manager (West Bengal and Northeast).

Key Responsibilities

???? Perform installation, maintenance, and support for laboratory diagnostic systems.
???? Provide quick resolution for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
???? Ensure compliance with service policies and industry standards.
???? Work alongside a Senior Engineer initially for on-the-job training.
???? Travel within the assigned territory and beyond on short notice when required.

Essential Qualifications

✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Biomedical Engineering (or related fields with electrical/electronics coursework).
✔️ Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
✔️ Travel Availability: Ability to travel within the region or outside at short notice.

Preferred Qualifications

➕ 5+ years of experience in the In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry.
➕ Strong IT skills – Computer hardware expertise and familiarity with the latest software languages.
➕ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
