Full job description

We have an urgent requirement for a Phonics Teacher for the 3 PM - 9 PM slot. It is mandatory to devote 3 to 4 hours/day (flexible) according to the teacher's availability.

The applicant must be aware of Phonics which includes all the letter sounds, long vowels, short vowels, tricky words, segmenting and blending of sounds.

Working days: Monday-Saturday

Learn2Read is an EdTech startup in the online education delivery space which has grown multifold in the last few years. We are looking to redefine the traditional methods of education in India. We are a supercharged team of 80+ professionals who are passionate about early education and focused at building a strong foundation for young kids with the help of our teaching programs.

#Role:

We are looking for a smart and experienced teacher to join the Learn2Read team. Someone creative has an excellent command of spoken and written English and can engage the kids in a fun and interactive manner. Some of the responsibilities include:

• Getting an in-depth understanding of the teaching module provided by Learn2Read
• Complete the required learning program in the designated time frame with the ideal result and outcome
• Come up with creative and fun ideas to teach the kids with use of different props in every session
• Collaborating with the Learn2Read team regularly
• Providing the feedback of the kids on a regular basis to Learn2Read and maintaining the record of the same.

#Requirements:

• Must be a Graduate
• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in kindergarten and pre-primary level or kids between 3-8 years
• Sound understanding and knowledge of phonics
• Phonics certification OR Online EdTech experience
• Strong command of the English language
• Skill to deal with young kids with patience and empathy
• Passion for teaching and belief in building a solid foundation for kids at an early age
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must have a laptop with an internet speed of a minimum of 100 MBPS

Job Types: Part-time, Contractual

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹200.00 - ₹300.00 per hour
