About the Team:

This role sits within the Asset and Liability Management (ALM) team, which is responsible for independent oversight of liquidity and non-traded market risk. The team supports regulatory compliance, risk monitoring, and policy adherence. The ALM team consists of 10 members across liquidity, market risk, and regulatory reporting, reporting to the IBP Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and analyze daily liquidity risk metrics and monitor limits (internal & regulatory).

• Identify, quantify, monitor, and forecast funding and liquidity risks using established methodologies.

• Analyze trends and patterns across liquidity risk indicators.

• Prepare accurate weekly/monthly reporting packs for senior management.

• Support team members during holiday coverage to ensure continued delivery of key daily reports.

• Model and test new financial instruments for liquidity risk impact.

• Undertake project work involving risk model validation, result analysis, and methodology testing.

• Forecast key liquidity metrics and track performance against actuals for informed decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

• 3–4 years of experience in a Bank or Financial Institution.

• Solid understanding of financial markets and instruments (retail and wholesale products).

• Familiarity with ALM risk techniques and risk models.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical tools, and Acrobat Writer.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Motivated, responsible, and adaptable to change.
