In this role, you will support Pearson editors across various Higher Education disciplines by coordinating product development, maintaining data integrity, managing communication with authors and reviewers, and supporting marketing efforts.
Assist in the review process for new educational products.
Send surveys, collect feedback, and manage honorarium payments.
Maintain reviewer databases and request ISBNs for new products.
Submit reprint corrections and ensure product setup/data integrity.
Manage purchase orders for contracted work.
Monitor payment statuses and royalty information.
Distribute pre/post-publication materials to authors.
Conduct background research on content, courses, and competitors.
Actively engage with editorial projects alongside project leads.
Respond to queries from sales teams and customers.
Tag relevant team members for advanced queries.
Follow up on conference feedback and marketing resources.
Adhere to Pearson’s Global Content and Editorial Policy.
Flag and assist in remediating DEI issues in content.
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Professional verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Comfortable interacting with survey participants, reviewers, and authors.
Ability to track, organize, and complete multiple tasks.
Prioritize workflows based on urgency and team direction.
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Culturally sensitive and flexible.
Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
Comfortable with change management in evolving systems and structures.
