About the Role

This role is part of the Global Operations team, supporting transaction processing across the United States, United Kingdom, and India. The position ensures timely and accurate settlement of domestic and foreign transactions for all product types, including:
✔️ Trade confirmation
✔️ Instruction processing
✔️ Fail management
✔️ Country opening documentation
✔️ Reconciliation

Additionally, the role involves managing broker, custodian, and trader relationships while handling Fund Order/Unit dealing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

???? Settlement Operations: Instruct custodians for timely domestic & international transaction settlements across all security types.
???? Trade Matching: Verify electronic trade matching to ensure accurate trade details.
???? Unit Dealing & Fund Orders: Process fund-to-fund orders and unit dealing instructions.
???? Fail Management: Identify and manage trade failures to minimize risk and enhance efficiency.
???? Trader Support: Work with trading teams to resolve trade discrepancies and inquiries.
???? Risk Mitigation: Analyze trends in failed trades to prevent future issues.
???? Prime Broker Coordination: Oversee collateral monitoring, administrator correspondence, and related processes.
???? Project & System Support: Assist with system testing, regulatory changes, and ad hoc reporting.
???? Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain professional relationships with brokers, custodians, prime brokers, vendors, and traders.
???? Database Management: Keep settlement instructions updated in the Settlements Instruction database.
???? Continuous Improvement: Participate in team meetings, leadership discussions, training, and innovation projects.

Essential Qualifications

✔️ Strong verbal & written communication skills.
✔️ Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, business partners, and clients.
✔️ Decision-making aptitude with a proactive approach.
✔️ Strong analytical & problem-solving abilities.
✔️ Knowledge of the Mutual Fund industry.
✔️ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

✅ Experience in financial operations, trade settlements, or fund operations.
✅ Familiarity with global financial markets & regulatory frameworks.
✅ Strong data analysis skills for process improvements.
