Role Overview – Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for driving technical discovery, product demonstrations, and technical proof-of-concepts (POCs) for prospective customers. You will work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise to showcase the value of Whatfix solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge

  • Develop a deep understanding of Whatfix’s product portfolio and competitive landscape.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer-focused solutions.
  • Evangelize Whatfix products to prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) both remotely and on-site.

Sales Collaboration & Customer Engagement

  • Partner with sales executives to plan and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
  • Effectively communicate ROI and value propositions to potential customers.
  • Work with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to provide consultative expertise.

Technical Consultation & Implementation

  • Hands-on development with HTML5, CSS3 (Animation, Grid, Flexbox), and vanilla JavaScript (ES5, ES6+).
  • Work closely with large enterprises to implement Whatfix solutions.
  • Address technical objections and provide solutions to enterprise software challenges.

Customer Success & Continuous Improvement

  • Liaise with product management teams to provide customer feedback for enhancements.
  • Ensure seamless implementation and user adoption for enterprise clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior executives and stakeholders.

Who Should Apply?

???? Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Web Development.
  • Strong front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5, ES6+).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of SaaS business models and enterprise software solutions.
  • Familiarity with high-performance software development and technical integrations.

  • Ability to explain and present complex concepts in a simple, engaging manner.
  • Experience in implementing software solutions for large enterprises.
