This role is part of the RiverSource Operations line of business, where you will lead a team of Insurance & Annuity professionals. You will ensure prompt and accurate resolution of service requests from Advisors and clients while maintaining compliance with established Service Levels & Procedures. As the operational expert, you will work closely with senior leaders, business colleagues, and team members to manage and resolve issues effectively.
✅ Lead a team of professionals to ensure service level compliance.
✅ Allocate and manage workloads to meet case deadlines effectively.
✅ Oversee and resolve urgent or escalated issues in collaboration with the Home Office.
✅ Partner with Risk & Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
✅ Work with internal stakeholders to streamline and enhance operational procedures.
✅ Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to keep the team updated on process-level changes.
✅ Ensure adherence to best practices and service delivery frameworks.
✅ Monitor and report individual & team performance to key stakeholders.
✅ Plan and execute employee development & career progression initiatives.
✅ Conduct 1-on-1 coaching, team huddles, and regular mentoring to improve performance.
✅ Collaborate with HR and senior leaders to implement effective learning programs.
✅ Participate in training programs to enhance personal & professional competencies.
✔️ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
✔️ Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
✔️ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
✔️ Experience in operations management, preferably in financial services.
✔️ Stakeholder management & customer service expertise.
✔️ High emotional intelligence & people management skills.
✅ Experience in Insurance, Annuities, or Financial Operations.
✅ Knowledge of process improvement & automation techniques.
✅ Ability to lead & manage teams in a fast-paced environment.
