This role is part of a high-performing Corporate Travel Consultant team at the Gurugram office, reporting to a Team Coach.


What You'll Do

As a Travel Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Travel Arrangements

  • Act as a travel advisor for corporate business accounts, offering exceptional service across domestic and international travel needs.
  • Handle bookings for air, rail, car rentals, and hotel accommodations using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus.
  • Proactively sell additional travel services (e.g., hotels and car rentals) while ensuring compliance with the client's travel policies.

Customer Service and Problem-Solving

  • Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations to travelers.
  • Assist travelers with special requests, inquiries, and booking challenges.
  • Address and resolve customer issues independently or with suppliers as needed.

End-to-End Booking Management

  • Oversee the entire booking process, including ticketing and order fulfillment.
  • Handle reservations via phone, email, chat, or back-office systems.
  • Ensure adherence to key performance indicators, such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), call adherence, and service metrics.

Collaboration and Leadership

  • Mentor and coach junior Travel Consultant team members.
  • Participate in team discussions and contribute positively to company culture.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to streamline travel booking and refund processes.
  • Proactively review performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.

Other Responsibilities

  • Work variable shifts (days, nights, and weekends) in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Stay informed on travel trends and industry standards to deliver innovative solutions.

What We're Looking For

Skills and Knowledge

  • Comprehensive understanding of fares, ticketing rules, and booking processes for air, rail, car, and hotel travel.
  • High proficiency in one or more GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, or Amadeus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Capacity to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.

Experience

  • Background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations is required.
  • Previous experience working in a high-touch service environment with measurable performance goals is a plus.
