As an Outbound Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving end-to-end sales processes. This includes prospecting, engaging with key decision-makers, and closing deals. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and contributing to revenue growth through outbound sales strategies.
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and research potential customers through multiple channels (outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other social platforms).
Develop and implement outbound sales campaigns using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other lead-generation platforms.
2. Outbound Outreach
Initiate and manage contact with prospects via cold calls, emails, and social media.
Qualify leads, set appointments, and manage the entire sales cycle from discovery to deal closure.
3. Lead Qualification
Assess and qualify leads from the TAM (Total Addressable Market) list based on business needs, budget, and product fit.
Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in the CRM system.
4. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to effectively position Freshworks' SaaS solutions.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the Marketing, Presales, and Product teams to ensure a smooth lead transition and alignment on sales goals.
6. Achieve Targets & Performance Metrics
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly targets for:
Outreach (calls, emails, social engagement)
Lead qualification
Revenue generation
Track and report on sales performance using data analytics and reporting tools.
7. Continuous Learning & Development
Stay current on sales techniques and Freshworks product offerings to effectively communicate product value.
Continuously enhance your sales skills and industry knowledge.
1-3 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology sales.
Proven success in cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
Experience with outbound tools (e.g., Lusha, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport and engage with key decision-makers across different levels.
Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to exceed sales targets.
Self-motivated, resilient, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Familiarity with sales funnels, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting tools for performance tracking.
