Position Summary

The Pricing Accountant is responsible for developing cost proposals, pricing strategies, and financial models in response to federal government solicitations for healthcare staffing services. This role ensures pricing submissions are accurate, compliant with FAR, and competitively positioned for federal contracts. This position works in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and Submit Pricing Volume for Task Order Proposal Responses (TOPRs).

· Develop fully burdened labor rate models and indirect cost structures

· Analyze RFPs to extract labor category and pricing requirements

· Apply SCA wage determinations and locality-based pricing

· Create and maintain pricing templates and cost volumes for proposals

· Support GSA Schedule/Proposal pricing, escalation, and modifications

· Perform price-to-win analysis and competitor benchmarking

· Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Proposal teams for data input

· Ensure pricing compliance with FAR, DFARS, and cost principles

· Track pricing performance and post-award cost analysis

· Build and maintain financial models to forecast margin scenarios and revenue impact

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field

· 3+ years’ experience in federal pricing or healthcare staffing

· Advanced Excel modeling skills

· Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, scenario analysis)

· Familiarity with SCA, FAR, and indirect rate modeling

· Knowledge of healthcare labor costs (e.g., RNs, MDs, Pharmacists etc.)

· Strong written and numerical communication

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with GSA schedules, ProPricer, Excel or similar tools

· Familiarity with DCAA audits and post-award cost reporting

· Experience in pricing surge labor and OCONUS deployments

· Financial Modeling

· Expert-Level Excel/Sheets Modeling: Skilled in developing flexible pricing models, labor category mapping, burden rate allocation, wrap rate structures, and escalation modeling.

· Accuracy Under Pressure: Can produce compliant and audit-ready pricing tables under 24–48-hour turnarounds with <1% error tolerance.

· Experience documenting pricing assumptions, basis of estimate (BOE), and responding to government pricing volume requests.

· High-Throughput Performer: Able to support multiple task order responses per week, with tight SLAs, multiple pricing formats, and cost realism reviews.

· Proposal turnaround time: ≤ 48 hours from data collection

· Cost volume defect rate: < 1%

· Accuracy of SCA/labor category mapping: ≥ 98%

· Win rate contribution (based on pricing): ≥ 50%

· Monthly Updates to pricing dashboard
